Fire breaks out in Myeik Tsp.

A fire broke out in the house of U Bua Nge in Tawpyo Village in Myeik Township, Tanintharyi Region at about 8:15 pm yesterday. 

The fire was believed to have started from overheated wires installed in a bed room in the house and burnt out pillows and mattress.

Firefighters from Myeik District Fire Service Department rushed to the incident scene to put out the fire in collaboration with auxiliary fire fighters and villagers using 20 fire engines. The fire was brought under control at 8:30 pm and totally extinguished at 8:35 pm.

The fire damaged the upper floor of the house. The authorities filed charged against U Thant Zin, son of U Bua Nge, it is learnt.—Khine Htoo, Township IPRD
