Pakokku 16 June
A fire broke out in Hpa-lan-owe village, Pakokku Township at about 11 am on 15 June and it started from overheated electric wires.
District Administrators, Township Administrators, officials from Fire Services Department and local residents extinguished the fire with the help of 10 fire engines and water tankers. Then the fire was put out at about 12:45 pm.
Due to the fire outbreak, three houses and two huts in the village were destroyed and family members from these houses were removed to their relatives, according to District Information and Public Relations Department.
