Meiktila 14 December
A fire broke out in a shop in Panntawsat village in Tawma village-tract in Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region at about 3:30 am on December 14, according to District Fire Services Department.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters from District and Township Fire Services Departments using three fire engines and a water tanker and it was put out at about 3:39 am.
The fire which was triggered by overheated electrical wires spread to other shops and it destroyed four shops.
