A fire broke out in a house between 59th street and 60th street in Pyigyitagun Township, Mandalay Region at about 9 am today.
The fire was started from the overheated wall socket while cooking and the sparks of the fire spread to other houses. The fire was extinguished by a total of 150 firefighters and local residents with the help of 25 fire engines and five water tankers.
The fire caused the family members of four houses to become homeless but no casualties were reported in the incident.
