A ceremony to hand over light fire engines was held at the office of the township Fire Services Department in Homalin Township, Hkamti District, Sagaing Region this morning.
At the event, Minister for Shan Ethnic Affairs Daw Nan Hmway Hmway Khin delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, staff officer of the township Fire Services Department Win Min Tun clarified the purpose of the provision of nine fire engines for villages in the township and spoke words of thanks to the region government.
Also present on the occasion were Shan Ethnic Affairs Minister Daw Nan Hmway Hmway Khin, the Pyithu Hluttaw Repesentative U Myo Nyunt, Chairman of the township management committee U Htin Kyaw, the township Police Chief, departmental officials, members of fire fighters and village Administrators.—Lin Lin, IPRD
