A fire broke out in a house in Thabyaetan village in Yekyi Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region at 9:30 pm yesterday.
The fire started from the candle that was offered in the shrine and spread to the wall of the house. The fire was extinguished by 20 firefighters, departmental officials and local residents using two fire engines. The fire was put out at about 10:30 pm.
Due to the fire, four houses burned down and the fire victims were relocated to their relatives in the village. No casualties were reported in the incident. San Tint (Yekyi)
