A fire broke out at Kywesekan 11st road in Chanmyathayar Ward in Pyigyidagun Township, Mandalay Region at 6:15 pm yesterday.
Officials from the Township Fire Services Department and local residents extinguished the fire using 20 fire engines and ten water tankers and the fire was totally put out at 6:40 pm.
The fire started from the electric wire shock and it spread to the walls of the house. Due to the fire, a total of nine houses were destroyed.
