Pantanaw, 20 February
No casualties were reported in a house fire in Phayagyidaunt Village, Pantanaw Township in Ayeyawady Region, the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The fire broke out at the house of a man identified as Aung Bu (alias) Ko Naing, 30, at about 1:05 p.m. and had ceased 15 minutes later. The blaze destroyed seven nearby houses. The fire is believed to have started from ember in the kitchen.
The house owner is being questioned over fire negligence by the local police force.—MOHA
