Fire torches two houses in Pyinmana

No casualties were reported after a fire broke out in Pyinmana Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area this early morning.
    

 

The fire broke out at a house of U Kyaw Aye from Uyinsu Village-tract at around 5 a.m. today. The fire is attributed to have started from an overheated wire and consumed a nearby house. Upon receiving information, firefighters and policemen led by the head of the township police force Police Major Aye Myint Naing immediately rushed to the scene of the fire.
    

 

They completely put out the blaze by using eight fire engines in conjunction with residents 20 minutes later. Action has been taken against the house owner over fire negligence by the local police.—Soe Moe (IPRD)
