Myawady, 11 September
No casualties were reported after a fire broke out at a house in Ward-2, Myawady Township in Kayin State on 9 September.
The fire is believed to have started from an overheated electric wire cable while the house owner identified as Ma Soe Soe Htwe, 25 years old was ironing. The blaze consumed five houses but no casualties were reported in the fire.
The house owner is being questioned over fire negligence by the local police station.
