An event to provide cash assistance and relief items to flood-affected employees from Cooperatives Department under Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development was held at the meeting hall of the Township Department of Cooperatives in Kyaukse Township of Mandalay Region on September 19.

U Aung Win, assistant director of Mandalay Region Cooperatives Department, U Kyaw Tun Oo, staff officer of the Township Department of Cooperatives, U Kyaw Than, Chairman of the Township Cooperative Society and members, and staff from the Township Cooperatives Department attended the event and provided cash, rice, edible oil, onion, salt and soaps to five flood victims from Cooperatives Department in Kyaukse Township.—District IPRD
