A total of 5,832 bags of rice, donated by the Mandalay Region Government, were handed over to the relevant ward and village administrators at the office of the Township Agriculture Department at 1:00 p.m. on March 17 to support flood-hit people in Kyaukse Township, Kyaukse District of Mandalay Region.

On this occasion, U Khin Maung Win, member-2 of the Township Administration Body, along with officials, distributed the rice to 58,938 flood victims from 14,193 households across 38 flood-affected villages and four wards in Kyaukse Township.

As part of this cash aid program, flood victims in the township received a total of 5,832 bags of rice. Distribution will continue through the ward and village administrators to assist more flood-affected people in the Township.— Thet Maung (Kyaukse)
