Kyainn-Seikkyi, 4 August
Some houses in low-lying area in Kyainn-Seikkyi Township, Kayin State have been inundated by floodwaters from the Zami River as a consequence of heavy rains and they were evacuated to a temporary relief camp.
The evacuation process was supervised by Township Administrator U Kyaw Soe Oo with the participation of departmental officials and ward administrator plus local people.
Arrangements are being made by the township administrator and concerned officials to provide food and relief supplies to 330 flood victims from 76 households.—Myo Min Oo (IPRD)
