Four dead, three injured as truck overturns in Ingapu Township

Four people were killed and three others injured after a six-wheeled truck overturned in a forest reserve in Ingapu Township, Ayeyawady Region on 29 April, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

A six-wheeled truck with seven men on board was driven by a man named Than Min Htike, 42, from Kwinkauk Mrauk Village, Ingapu Township and flipped over after hitting into a cliff. The truck driver fled the scene but four men were pronounced dead on the spot and three others sustained severe injuries in the incident.

The truck driver who is still on the run has been taken action over reckless driving by the local police.—MOHA
