A ceremony was held yesterday at a local battalion in Hpa-an Township to warmly welcome back frontline Tatmadaw personnel who had successfully carried out duties in Myawady Township, Kayin State, and surrounding areas.
Officials from the South-East Command, along with departmental personnel, retired servicemen, military officers, other ranks, and residents, greeted the returning troops with great enthusiasm and appreciation.
The returning members were presented with sprigs of Eugenia and cash prizes as a mark of honour. The event also featured traditional dance and music performances. — MNA/ MKKS
