A fundraising concert was held at No.2 Indoor Stadium in Thanlyan Township, Yangon Region yesterday night. The concert is aimed at raising funds for promoting Taekwondo sports among new generations.
At the ceremony, Upper House MP U Ye Myint Soe, Regional legislator for No.1 constituency U Nay Lin Aung, and Township Administrator of the General Administration Department U Aung Ko Tun gave speeches and an event organizer spoke words of thanks to people who contributed financial and technical assistance to hold the concert.
Next, new generation athletes demonstrated Taekwondo techniques and the fundraising concert followed.—Thet Khaing (Thanlyan)
