Indaw, 11 June
The final match of the township sports and education committee’s cup Futsal tournament was held in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at an indoor stadium in Indaw Township, Sagaing Region on 10 June.
In the final game, a Futsal team representing Leypanmyay Village beat a Futsal squad representing Meza Village 9-8. The prizes were presented by the chairman of the township management committee U Thein Tan, Pyithu Hluttaw Lawmaker Dr. Daw Pyone, and an official from the Sports and Pyysical Education Department to the prize winning teams and players.
The competition was held from 25 May to 10 June with the participation of 21 Futsal teams throughout the township.—Lu Aung (Katha)
