Gamblers arrested in police raid in Myawady game shop

A combined squad that consists of police members and security personnel raided a gaming shop in Ward-4, Myawady, a border town in Kayin State on 6 May, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.

The joint team members arrested 10 gamblers, including a man named Khun Wai Myo Htet, 44, along with six gaming machines. Manager of the game shop identified as U Sai and an employee managed to flee the scene.

The staff of the game center and gamers are taken action under the Myanmar Gambling Law by the local police.—MOHA
