The final match of District Management Committee’s Cup Inter-township Football Tournament took place in conjunction with a prize presentation event at the township sports ground in Gangaw, Magway Region on 6 July.
In the final game, the team representing Gangaw Township beat the team representing Saw Township 1-0. Then the prize awarding ceremony followed. Assistant Commissioner U Maung Maung Naing, Assistant Director of the Sports and Physical Education Department U Zaw Win Ko, Deputy Commissioner U Aung Ko Oo and concerned officials presented champion trophy and awards to the winning teams and players.
The football tourney was participated by the teams representing Gangaw, Htilin, and Saw.—Kyaw Than Swe (IPRD)
