Ground-breaking for Rakhine State Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry held in Sittway

A stake-driving ceremony for construction of a new office for the Rakhine State Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry was held at the construction site in Sittway this morning.

Also present on the occasion were the Chief Minister of Rakhine State U Nyi Pu, Deputy Minister for Commerce U Aung Htoo, Rakhine State cabinet members, departmental officials, members of the Rakhine State Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and guests. The chief minister, deputy minister, President of UMFCCI U Zaw Min Win and the vice-president of the Rakhine State Chambers of Commerce and Industry U Shwe Ba Thein drove stakes at designated places of the construction site and sprinkled scented water on it.

The three-storey facility measuring 90 ft. in length and 50 ft. in width will be built on 3 acres of land plot. The structure is designed to include training halls, meeting rooms, and office rooms.—Tin Tun (IPRD)
