A groundbreaking ceremony of Sakku Alintan Eye Hospital near Bogyoke Statue in Hkamti, Sagaing Region was held at the precinct this morning.
The occasion was graced by Sagaing Regional Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Than Tun Aung, Regional Minister for Social Affairs Dr. Zaw Win and wife, donors, MPs of Regional Hluttaw and departmental personnel.
Then the officials drove stakes at the designated place for the construction of the eye hospital at the designated time.
The hospital will be constructed with the contributions of Khaing Nan Shwe, Zabuthiri, Htet Yee Lin and Myauk Kyun Thu Mama Gems and Jewelry Companies.
