Tatkon, 22 January
A 12-wheel truck coming from Pyinmana to Tatkon collided with a 22-wheel truck coming from an opposite direction and fell-off under a bridge at milepost 245/7 on old Yangon-Mandalay highway in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw at 5:30 am on 22 January.
Due to the accident, a man from the 12-wheel truck died on the spot and the driver of the truck was admitted to the 100-Bedded Hospital in Tatkon.
Deputy Township Administrator, members of the township Police Forces, Traffic Police Force, Fire Services Department and village administrators are helping to prevent traffic congestion at the place where the accident occured.
