Health consultation phone service provided in 5 more townships

The health consultation service over the phone has been extended up to five more townships, according to the announcement of the General Practitioners Society under Myanmar Medical Association. This service is being provided free of charge to the people who are faced with the health problems in the pandemic period. The extended townships are Toungoo, Meiktila, Mahlaing, Thazi and Pyawbwe.


The health consultation service is being provided with an aim to assist the people who are challenging to go outside to see the doctors. This service has already started in some townships of Yangon region beginning from 1 October. Now, five more townships have been extended to provide this service.


Under this programme, the general physicians from the association will respond to the questions to discuss the health issue via phone call.


Those who need the health assistance may call the following numbers: 095350717 (Dr San San Win) for Toungoo, 09975423969 (Dr Sandar Aung), 09978286936 (Dr San Aung), 09772200903 (Dr Khin Soe), 09796201828 (Dr Tun Aung Kyaw) for Meiktila, 09971431555 (Dr Myo Thu Aung), 09972182868 (Dr Thein Naing) for Mahlaing, 09985995465 (Dr Khin Maung Aye) for Thazi and 09407927733 (Dr Pyae Phyo Han), 09797780885 (Dr Hnin Pan Wai) for Pyawbwe. Those who need health assistance can call these numbers from 9:00 to 12:00 noon and tell their health problems.


At present, these services have already been available in 30 townships of Yangon region and 21 municipalities in other states and regions.
