An event to donate cash assistance to the internally displaced people was held at Kyusok IDP in Namtu Township in northern Shan State on January 27.
A local social organization provided cash assistance to the IDPs with the financial contributions of a philanthropic group from Denmark. Volunteers from a local social organization and officials from the township management committee for the IDPs furnished the IDPs with Ks 42,000 each.
The IDPs are provided Ks. 21,000 each for per month with the aim of helping IDPs solve their difficulties amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
