Ngaphe, December 28
The township Rural Development Department head U Wai Lin Maung and staff made a field trip to inspect the implementation of water supply project in the village of Kyaukson in Suu Padaung village tract, Ngaphe township, Magway region yesterday evening.
In doing so, the officials met with members of village water supply committee and looked into water supply works being carried out. The officials urged them to work to the deadline and to ensure that the works meet the current quality standards. The village water supply project is being implemented with a fund of K 7.03 million allocated by the Township RDD. The project includes building of a water tank with a capacity of 5000 gallons, water pump house for pump machine and laying water pipes.
When completed, the water supply project will benefit a total of 47 households with 159 people.—Ma Yu (Ngaphe)
