An indoor stadium is reportedly being built in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region with the Union Budget allocated in the current fiscal year.
The sport facility measuring 120 ft. in length, 90 ft. in width and 36 ft. in height is being built by a private construction company at a cost of over Ks. 296 million, according to the township Sport and Physical Education Department.
Officials from the SPED and local lawmakers and local authorities are tasked with supervising the project to complete ahead of the schedule.
