Installation of 400 V transmission line was undertaken in Yekha village in Minhla Township, Thayat District, Magway Region. Now, the installation has been completed by hundred percent, according to the Township Department of Rural Development.
The installation work was conducted with K 20 million, interest of Emerald Green Project and K 28.2783 million, public contributions starting from September. Therefore, a total of 981 people from 205 households were distributed electricity, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
The Emerald Green Project is being conducted in 38 villages, in the township and five water supply projects, nine electricity supply projects and construction of three rural roads and one multi-purpose hall were implemented with K 153.05 million, interest of the project and K 164.84387 million, public contributions in 18 villages.
