Inter-village road benefits Natmauk Twsp locals

Natmauk, 28 January

Construction of an inter-village road linking three villages was completed in Natmauk Township, Magway Region.

A three-mile long and 20 ft. wide road is of an earthen facility and was built at a cost of over Ks. 2.4 million donated by local people under the aegis of a Buddhist monk. “A rural road was built on a self-reliant basis to improve transportation links in our area. Local people once experienced many difficulties due to poor road transportation. I hope the locals will be able to use the new road in all seasons with greater ease,” the monk said.

The main purpose of the rural road is to ensure fire safety measures for locals and undertake their social activities in a convenient manner, the monk added.
