The final match of the Kachin ethnic affairs trophy was held in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at the township sport ground in Kutkai, northern Shan State on 6 November.
Among the spectators were Shan State Minister for Kachin Ethnic Affairs U Zoute Daung, Township Administrator U Kyaw Lin, departmental staff, members of local literature and cultural groups, guests and football fans. The team representing Lashio Zone won over the squad representing Hopang Zone 3-2 in the penalty shootout.
Next, concerned officials presented individual prizes, cash and champion trophy to award winning teams and players.—Ko Mai (IPRD)
