Japan's health ministry says it confirmed 1,105 new cases of the coronavirus in Tokyo on Monday.
The number is down 713 from a week ago, for a 20th straight day of week-on-week decline.
The ministry also confirmed 15 deaths from the virus in the capital.
Nationwide, there were 15,612 new infections and 124 deaths on Monday.
