The US Special Representative for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, is to hold talks on North Korea's denuclearization with his counterparts from Japan and South Korea.
The US State Department said on Wednesday that Biegun will visit Singapore from May 31 to June 2 to attend an Asian security meeting known as the Shangri-La Dialogue.
It says he will meet senior officials from Japan and South Korea on the sidelines of the meeting.
The officials are the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau chief, Kenji Kanasugi, and South Korea's special representative for peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, Lee Do-hoon.
