A Japanese film crew of Tokyo Broadcasting System-TBS took the scenes of Bagan Archeological Museum and Tharabar Gate in Bagan Archaeological Zone and scenic Mount Popa from Popa Resort yesterday.
The crew also documented the travellers at the Shwezigon Pagoda, Htilominlo Pagoda, Sulamani Pagoda, Ananda Pagoda and Thabyinnyu Pagoda in Bagan and the Yangon International Airport in Yangon.
On 3 and 4 January, they will shoot the Mount Popa Nats Festival and pagodas in Bagan.
The documented videos will be broadcast on TBS Channel in Japan under the title “Beautiful Cultural Zone” in February. —Kyaw Swar Thein (FDC)
