Local authorities seized drugs in Kawlin Township, Katha District, Sagaing Region yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, a combined team from Anti-Drug Squad-6 and Khantha police outpost together with witnesses intercepted a motorbike driven by Zaw Moe with Nay Myo Aung on board for inspection on intersection of Tigyaing-Kyauktan Raod in Kaw Lin Township and confiscated heroin weighing 110 grams worth K 11.0 million from them.
Authorities filed charges against Zaw Moe and Nay Myo Aung under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—Lu Aung (Katha)
