Kayin State parliament speaker joins tree planting event in Hlaingbwe Twsp

Hlaingbwe, 9 June


Speaker of Kayin State parliament U Saw Chit Khin attended a tree growing event in Komaung Village in Hlaingbwe Township in Kayin State this morning.


First, the Kayin State parliament speaker gave an opening address. Next, the pearliament speaker together with Kayin State Minister for Environmental Conservation, Forest, Mining and Road Transport U Saw Pyi Tha, Kayin State Minister for Immigration and Human Resources U Min Ko Khaing, Kayin State Minister for PaO Ethnic Affairs U Khun Myo Tint, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Khin Cho, Township Administrator U Min Thein, departmental staff, and villagers took part in the ceremony.   


The participants planted a total of 5,150 saplings including teak and hardwood to make the environment clean, green and peaceful during the activity.
