With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans for emerald green project were dispensed to members of village emerald green project in Oktu Village in Thayetchaung Township, Mon State yesterday.
First of all, an official the township Department of Rural Development gave a speech and clarified the purposes of the project.
Then, an official from the township DRD disbursed K 60.5 million to 135 members of village emerald green project committee Oktu Village, Thayetchaung Tsp. The disbursement of loans is the fifth of its kind in the village.—Tay Za Lin
