Loans to implement emerald green projects were disbursed to members of village emerald green project committee in Tungthein Village and Pekung Village in Bamauk Township, Sagaing Region yesterday in line with COVID-19 health guidelines.
Under this loans project, 34 people in livestock breeding business and one people in trading business in Tungthein Village received Ks. 21.0 million and 1.0 million respectively. In addition, 37 people in livestock breeding business and one people in trading business in Pekung Village received Ks. 27.0 million and Ks. 1.0 million respectively. The disbursement of loans is the seventh of its kind in the two villages.
With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans to implement emerald green projects were dispended to members of village emerald green project committee in the two villages in line with COVID health rules, according to an official from the Township DRD.—Hlaing Phua(Bamauk)
