With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans to implement emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers in Nanhsan-2 and Saipharaw Villages in Hpakant Township, Kachin State yesterday.
The disbursement of loan is the fifth of its kind in which officials from Department of Rural Development handed over 55.7 million to farmers in Nahnsan-2 Village. Altogether 62 people including 41 people in agriculture business, 16 in in livestock business and five who will attend vocational schools received loans of projects.
Then, Officials from DRD disbursed K 40.0 million to farmers in Saiphawraw Village. Altogether 94 people including 22 people in agriculture business, 45 in livestock business, 24 in trading business and three who will attend vocational schools received loans of projects. The disbursement of loan is the fourth of its kind in Saiphawraw Village.—U Win Aung
