THE Magway Region Tourism Committee  issued  licenses  to  two  motels  and  permitted  license  renewals  of  two  hotels  at a meeting held on Tuesday.

During  the  meeting,  the  tourism   committee   grant-ed  permission  for  forming  a  local tour guide association and one  tour  company.  It  also  approved  the  license  renewal  of  five tour guides.

The regional tourism committee  gave  its  permission  to  the inspection team to check My River View Hotel in Magway to grant a business license.

Additionally,  the  meeting  highlighted  developing  a  hotel  zone near the Shwesettaw area, developing  ecotourism,  elephant-based  tourism,  cultural  tourism,  and  organic  tourism  in the Shwesettaw Pagoda precinct and Nat Yekan village; Myanmar traditional hairstyle Sayintwine (top-knot with a fringe) culture; community-based tour-ism in Htantabingon village in Htilin Township and Kyunkalay village in Pakokku Township.
