A man was arrested for illegal gambling in Aungmitta ward of Indaw in Katha district, Sagaing region yesterday.
Soon after information received, policemen led by Police Sub-Inspector Phyo Kyaw Thu searched the house of Tin Ko in Augmitta ward at around 12:30 pm yesterday. The authorities seized materials related to gambling and K 7500 which was supposed to be realized from the gambling on a table in the house of Tin Ko.
Tin Ko was arrested for illegal gambling by Indaw Myoma Police Station, according to Police Sub-Inspector Mya Mya Htay.— Lu Aung ( Katha)
