A man was killed after being run over by a train in a railroad section in Mogaung Township, Kachin State this morning.
Local authorities together with eye witnesses went to the scene of incident after they received phone information. The man was found dead between mileposts 658/23 and 658/24 between Nankhin and Pinbaw railway stations at about 5:30 a.m. today. The man died on the spot after being run over by the train.
The man was identified as U Ohn Kyaw Htay from Pyintbyu Village, Mogaung Township and local police filed a complaint over the accident to investigate into the case.—Win Naing (Kachin Land)
