One of the three workers who dug earth for burying an old concrete staircase of a house died due to the fall of the stairs on him.
The incident happened in the village of Kyaikparan, Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State yesterday, and the victim under the stone stairway was retrieved with the help of Yan Bo Bo Win Emergency Rescue Association, and thence transported to the Mawlamyine General Hospital for autopsy.—Cho Myat Myat Htwe (IPRD)
