Man hit to death by falling tamarind branch in Myothit Tsp

A man was hit to death by a falling tamarind branch in Ywathit village, Gwaykone village-tract in Myothit Township, Magway region yesterday, according to local police station.

On 25 March morning, Maung Tun, 45, asked Soe Min Aung, his cousin, to cut down the branches of the tamarind tree in his compound. One of the branches with a circumference of nearly 20 inches, cut down by Soe Min Aung, accidently hit hard the head of U Maung Tun who was under the tree. U Maung Tun died on the spot with serious head injuries.

Action is being taken against Soe Min Aung for his reckless action that led to the death of Maung Tun by Dantdalunpin Police Station.—Zaw Zaw ( Myothit)
