Than Tlang, 19 January
Staff from the township Department of Livestock, Breeding and Veterinary (LBVD) under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation conducted a mass immunization campaign against rabies at its office in Than Tlang Township, Chin State yesterday.
Dr. Law Ha Khui Shin and medical staff from the Township LBVD injected 100 domestic dogs against rabies free of charge under the global strategic plan to prevent human deaths from dog-transmitted rabies by 2030.
Staff from the Township LBVD will continue to vaccinate the remaining dogs in the township, according to the office of the Township LBVD.
