With the aim of improving health and knowledge of children, the Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports conducted a mass immunization campaign in Lailenpi, Chin State this morning.
The provision of polio vaccines for children in Lailenpi is the second of its kind.
The department will provide polio vaccines to children below five years old and inject children between five and nine years old in the town with vaccination against various diseases such as polio and measles free of charge beginning October 25. The campaign will run till October 29.
