Medical equipment donated to hospital in Tanintharyi Tsp.

An event to donate medical equipment for containing coronavirus was held at the meeting room of people’s hospital in Tanintharyi Township, Taninthary Region yesterday.


As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, Commander of Coastal Region Command Lieutenant Colonel Soe Min Oo, Acting Tactical operations commander and members from Yaephyu Village in Tanintharyi Township handed over 80 personal protective equipment, 300 surgical masks, a digital blood pressure monitor cuff, a stethoscope to people’s hospital in Tanintharyi Township.


The donations were accepted by the township medical superintended Dr. Aung Thaik Tun and a nurse. 


In addition, Lieutenant Colonel Soe Min Oo and members also donated 112 masks and 24 surgical caps to station hospital in the Takusanpya Village and 100 surgical masks and 28 surgical caps to 16-bed station hospital in the town of Mawtaung in the township.
