A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw Chaw Sein attended the third day of the 2026 Global Sustainable Development Congress in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The delegation visited the Education Exhibition held alongside the congress, where they viewed displays by international universities and educational institutions and discussed research findings on sustainable development, educational innovations and curriculum reforms.
The Union minister also met representatives of leading universities from the Asia-Pacific region to explore cooperation with Myanmar universities. Discussions focused on academic and research collaboration, staff and student exchange programmes, joint research projects, and the development of frameworks for technological cooperation. — MNA/ MKKS
