MoEA donates refrigerator, air-con, meal box to hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw

Ministry of Ethnic Affairs donated K3 million worth of a refrigerator and four air conditioners to the COVID-19 intensive care unit at the 1000-bedded General Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning in Nay Pyi Taw.

The families of the MoEA also donated meal boxes and canned foods to the medical staff and patients in 1000-bedded General Hospital; 300-bedded General Hospital, the Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital and Dental Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw.

The donation ceremony was attended by Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Naing Thit Lwin and wife Mi Kyin Than, Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe and wife Dr Nan Khan Mine, Deputy Ministers Dr Mya Lay Sein and U Hla Maw Oo, the Permanent Secretaries, Directors-General, Hospital Superintendents, doctors and officials.

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Naing Thit Lwin and wife Mi Kyin Than presented K3 million worth of one refrigerator and four air-cons for COVID-19 ICU at 1000-bedded General Hospital to Dr Aung Lin Aye, the Deputy Superintendent of the hospital.

The Union Minister and wife also handed over K3.3 million worth of meal boxes and canned foods produced by Sein Hin Thar Co., Ltd for the medical staff and patients at the Eye.ENT hospital and Dental Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw.—MNA
