UNION Minister for Informa­tion U Maung Maung Ohn re­ceived Mr Atul Aneja, a stra­tegic analyst from India, at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yes­terday.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to pro­moting friendly relations and the dissemination of factual news between Myanmar and India, as well as the media land­scape in both countries, which are influenced by Western me­dia. They also exchanged views on matters related to collabora­tion not only in the media sec­tor but also across other fields between the two nations.

The meeting was attended by U Win Kyaw Aung, Perma­nent Secretary of the ministry, departmental heads, and rele­vant officials. — MNA/TH
