Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr Aung Zeya led the Myanmar delegation to attend the Tengchong Scientists Forum in Tengchong, Yunnan Province, China. The delegation arrived in Tengchong at 9 am yesterday.
Following their arrival, the deputy minister and delegation visited the Hengyi company, where they met Deputy Director-General Mr Peng An Quang and other officials. Discussions focused on Myanmar-China cooperation in electricity generation, mining, transport, trade, and agriculture, as well as the use of advanced technologies in these sectors.
Later, the delegation visited the historic Heshun town in Tengchong. In the evening, the Deputy Minister and delegation met Mr Guo Dajin, Deputy Governor of Yunnan Province, and his team. They discussed strengthening the relationship between the two nations and enhancing cooperation in science and technology sector.
