Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr Aung Zeya led the Myanmar delegation to attend the Tengchong Scientists Forum in Tengchong, Yunnan Province, China. The delegation arrived in Tengchong at 9 am yesterday.

 

Following their arrival, the deputy minister and delegation visited the Hengyi company, where they met Deputy Direc­tor-General Mr Peng An Quang and other officials. Discussions focused on Myanmar-China co­operation in electricity gener­ation, mining, transport, trade, and agriculture, as well as the use of advanced technologies in these sectors.

 

Later, the delegation visit­ed the historic Heshun town in Tengchong. In the evening, the Deputy Minister and delega­tion met Mr Guo Dajin, Deputy Governor of Yunnan Province, and his team. They discussed strengthening the relationship between the two nations and en­hancing cooperation in science and technology sector.
