A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorbike on Yay-Dawei road near Migyaunghlaung village, Kaleinaung town, Dawei district, Taninthayi region this morning.
According to information, a police officer from a local police outpost together with witnesses rushed to the accident scene to investigate the incident. A motorcyclist named Than Win Htet, 21, heading towards Dawei steered towards the opposite lane to avoid a fallen tree on the road where his motorbike hit the front part of a truck driven by Kyaw Win, 32.
